After an outstanding regular season and a determined postseason run, the Chicago Wolves won the 2008 Calder Cup title on Tuesday, defeating the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in six games to claim their second AHL championship. Jason Krog’s four-point night included his second hat trick of the postseason and propelled the Chicago Wolves to the 2008 Calder Cup championship with a 5-2 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Tuesday night at Allstate Arena. The Wolves defeated the Penguins four games to two to win their second AHL title and first since 2002.

The Wolves jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the Calder Cup Finals, but the Penguins have since won two straight games to make it a series. Chicago can capture the title with a home-ice win tonight in Game 6. Coverage starts at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on theahl.com, caldercup.com and NHL Network.
